Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, also known as Funny Face, is a Ghanaian comedian and actor who has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

Peace FM’s “Entertainment Review” host After the court ordered Funny Face to be reexamined at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital, Kwasi Aboagye verified the current development.

According to Kwasi Aboagye, the police searched the entire city of Accra, including the main psychiatric institution, but were unable to locate a bed for Funny Face.

Due to a lack of beds, he was returned to the police hospital after being diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

“I’m hearing that they roamed the entire Accra without getting a bed”. Funny Face was previously sent to the Korle Bu psychiatric Hospital.

They went to the main psychiatric hospital but there were no beds. I have been told that Funny Face has finally been diagnosed with a form of bipolar. Due to the no bed syndrome, he was sent back to the police hospital,Kwasi Aboagye said.

Bipolar disorder is characterized by mood fluctuations that range from depressing lows to euphoric highs.

Although the specific origin of bipolar disease is unknown, genetics, environment, and changes in brain structure and chemistry may all have a role.

Symptoms of manic episodes include excessive energy, a decreased need for sleep, and a lack of touch with reality. Low energy, low motivation, and a loss of interest in daily tasks are all indicators of depression. Mood episodes can last anywhere from a few days to several months, and they might be linked to suicide ideas.

Funny Face had previously admitted to being sad, but his detention followed threats and insults directed against Fada Dickson, Bola Ray, and Emmanuel Adebayor.

He threatened to murder Vanessa, his baby mama, and then commit suicide.

The “children president” was charged in court and compelled to undergo psychological testing.
