Jude Bellingham may be one of England’s most promising young players, but it hasn’t stopped his teammates from making fun of him frequently.

Bellingham, 19, was the target of various jokes after admitting that his mother Denise still makes his bed.

Conor Coady, who also identified the person who makes the most fun of the disclosure, disclosed some of the banter in the dressing room.

The Everton defender said: “Hendo (Jordan Henderson) looks after Jude like there is no tomorrow.

“The other day he (Bellingham) said something about his mum making his bed.

“We are talking Jude Bellingham here, one of the best young players in the world.

“Hendo sat up at dinner and said: ‘What?’. Jude said, ‘My mum makes my bed’.

“Hendo was bashing and bashing him.”

Bellingham and Henderson both shone as England defeated Wales 3-0 on Tuesday.

Bellingham’s impressive performance at the World Cup is only good news for him going forward and for his current club Borussia Dortmund, who is undoubtedly licking their lips at the teenager’s rising transfer value.

According to reports, Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is “obsessed” with the notion of bringing the former Birmingham star to Stamford Bridge.
