250 GRAVES discovered on Gerard Pique's property

The Costa del Sol property was bought by Pique for for $20 million (£17.7 million).

“We have excavated about 250 tombs, of which the vast majority are empty,” archaeologist Alberto Cumpian explained to Hoy por hoy Malaga.

“It is one of the largest necropolises in the country.”

After the graves have been investigated, Cumpian continued, it is anticipated that there won’t be any other delays, and Pique’s hotel project will be able to continue in early 2023.

Pique is still among the highest-paid players at Barcelona despite losing his spot in the starting lineup.

The seasoned defender is reportedly examining his options and might look to leave the Nou Camp during the January transfer window, according to reports in Spain.
